Jakob Dahl graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Anthropology and a minor in Scandinavian studies. Previously he had worked on the Picuris Pueblo Collaborative Zooarchaeology project under the mentorship of Melanie Cootsona, cataloging faunal collections and creating community-facing artistic deliverables. Particularly driven by the prospect to engage in archaeology as a means of disseminating information back into communities, Jakob Dahl is interested in utilizing the tangibility of archaeology to promote accessibility and cooperation.
