Project: Tribally-mandated Campus Archaeological Collaboration
Bio: Erin is a student in the Anthropology Department at UC Berkeley, currently working on a geophysics Honors Thesis with Dr. Jun Sunseri in the Bear Bones Lab. She started work on this project through the seminar in Low-Impact and Community Accountable Archaeology and continued that work into an Honors Thesis. Previously, she has done archaeological fieldwork in Greece and worked on a URAP in the Geoarchaeology and Southwest Asia Prehistory Lab at UC Berkeley under the supervision of Bri Jones and Dr. Lisa Maher. Erin is primarily interested in environmental archaeology and how past people used the landscape and how that interaction can inform our understanding of the world and decision making.
