Project: Missing American Aircrew
Bio: A third-year undergraduate at UC Berkeley, Andy knew that he wanted to be an archaeologist since the age of four. His research interests focus on the archaeology of the 1920s and 1930s, which has led him to participate in excavations in Belchite, Spain. He has used stalite imaging to locate trenches from the Spanish Civil War and helped create a pamphlet for Belchite’s office of tourism. Andy loves the hard-working and motivated atmosphere of Berkeley, and while on break, works as an archaeologist for a Cultural Resource Management company.
